Fitment Table | 2006

Updated 25 Aug 2026  ·  By Manoj Parihar, HPFAS

Fitment of pre-revised basic pay under the HP Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2009, with effect from 01-01-2006. It answers one question: what a basic pay drawn on 01-01-2006 became once the pay bands came in.

What it is

The columns are the numbered fitment tables the sheet itself names, 1 to 32. The rows are basic pays as drawn before the revision. Each figure is a Pay in Pay Band — not a basic pay: the basic is that figure plus the grade pay, and the hover card shows both so the two are never confused.

The scale on the card is the PRE-REVISED one

Worth stating plainly, because it is easy to misread: the pay scale shown against a column is the 1996 scale, not a 2006 one. It is not the column's name, which is why the columns are numbered here and the scale appears on the hover card instead, beneath the pay band the column falls into.

How to read it

Find the pre-revised basic pay down the left, read across to the fitment table that applies, and the figure is the pay in the pay band. The hover card adds the pay band, its range, the grade pay and the resulting basic. Click to copy.

The figure is pay in the pay band. The basic is that plus grade pay.
