This short walkthrough shows how to compute your revised basic pay and month-wise arrears under the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022, using the Pay Revision 2022 calculator — with every step of the fixation shown.

What this tool does

It maps your pre-revised basic pay to the notified pay matrix, applies the correct fitment, and fixes your revised basic pay in the applicable level. It then computes arrears between your date of option and the current month, so the figure you hand to your DDO is fully traceable.

What you'll need

  • Your pre-revised basic pay (pay band + grade pay).
  • Your applicable pay level under HPCS(RP) 2022.
  • Your date of option / date of effect.

Reading your result

The result card shows your revised basic pay, the level it was fixed in, and a month-wise arrears breakdown you can export. Every intermediate figure is visible, so it can be checked against your office order line by line.

The calculator follows the notified pay matrix. Always verify the final figure against your official pay-fixation order before submission.
