Fitment Table | 2016

Updated 25 Aug 2026  ·  By Manoj Parihar, HPFAS

The pay matrix under the HP Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022, applicable with effect from 01-01-2016. It is the table a revised basic pay is read out of, and the one the Pay Revision calculator works against.

What it is

A grid of Levels across the top and Cells down the side. Each figure is a Basic Pay: the pay drawn at that cell of that level. Moving down a column is an annual increment; moving across is a change of level, on promotion or an assured career progression.

How to read it

Hover any figure and a card names it exactly: the level and cell it sits at, that it is a Basic Pay, the figure itself, the level's own range, and the grade pay the level carries. Click the figure to copy it. The row and column both highlight, so a figure far from the edges can still be traced back to its axes.

Where it comes from

Reproduced from the notified matrix as it stands. Where a figure here differs from a departmental copy, the notification governs — this is a reading aid, not an authority.

Down a column is an increment. Across is a change of level.
